EADC WILL BEGIN ACCEPTING APPOINTMENTS FEBRUARY 2ND, 2024

What is vita?

The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program (VITA) is an IRS-supported, free income tax preparation program for low- to moderate-income individuals and families. IRS trained and certified volunteers help taxpayers prepare their tax returns at no cost.  VITA tax preparers undergo and pass rigorous tax law training that meets or exceeds IRS standards. Every return prepared at a VITA site go through an IRS quality review process prior to filing.

How can we help you?

The VITA program also helps qualifying individuals receive important credits such as the Earned Income Tax Credit  (EITC).  This and other credit help many hard-working tax filers have more money in their pockets for food, rent, transportation, medicine, childcare and other essentials.
