In collaboration with Aaron Heard Community Center, East Athens Development Corporation hosted a Field Day of Fun with summer campers. Over eighty campers were able to participate in a variety of games and events, including bouncy houses, tug ‘o war, water games, kickball, soccer, football, and face painting. EADC's Summer 2026 Youth Literacy Program This summer, EADC's Youth Literacy Program worked with campers at Aaron Heard's Summer Day Camp. Our group came to us Tuesday and Thursday mornings, 9:00 AM - 11:00 PM, for 6 weeks this summer. We had group rotations for reading, writing, and math.
