Summer 2026 YLP Field Day

In collaboration with Aaron Heard Community Center, East Athens Development Corporation hosted a Field Day of Fun with summer campers. Over eighty campers were able to participate in a variety of games and events, including bouncy houses, tug ‘o war, water games, kickball, soccer, football, and face painting. The ACC Fire Department and ACC Pop-Up Park also made special appearances at the event. All of our campers reported having an incredible time!

EADC would like to thank all of our community partners that helped make this event possible, including: the ACC Police Department and their Cadet Program, the ACC Fire Department, Athens Pop-Up Park, Aaron Heard Park, ACC Sheriff's Office, City of Refuge, Communities in Schools, CCSD Educators, and all other community volunteers that gave their time at this event.
