Spring 2026 Job and Resource Fair

The East Athens Development Corporation recently hosted another Job and Resource Fair. This event was held to connect individuals in the Athens area with various hiring opportunities, local programs (such as CNA certification classes), services (such as resume building assistance), and more. Those looking to develop and advance their career were able to receive invaluable information and assistance.

Various organizations sent representatives to share information on their opportunities and resources. Innovative Healthcare discussed with many individuals about their CNA and Phlebotomy Certification programs. Beacon Hill Schools was looking to hire teachers. Athens Technical College came prepared with information on their GED program and other educational courses they offer. The list could go on!

After following up with attending community members, we are happy to report that many have benefitted from the fair. Some have already secured a job, some are currently participated in job coaching, and others are currently in the interviewing process. This event resulted in a lot of exciting progress, connections, and so much more!
