As a Community Based Development Organization, East Athens Development Corporation, Inc. is able to act as a fiscal agent for Youth Educational Enrichment programs that assist the East Athens Community. Chess and Community (CCC) is a not for profit agencies that provides youth enrichment activities to a large population of youth in Athens Clarke County (ACC).

 

 

The CCC Youth Enrichment Program provides supplemental services to include:

• One on one tutoring

• Homework assistance

• Small group tutoring

• Computerized instructions

• Self-reported needs assessment and evaluation

• Engaging ongoing communication with parents and teachers

• Developing students’ career interests through research and exploration

• Integrating enrichment activities with academics

• Providing life skill development activities

• Providing one-on-one chess matches

• Providing financial literacy and money management

• Providing STEM Enrichment activities
